    Visit the official RRB website relevant to your region or the centralised portal at rrb.indianrailways.gov.in.

  2. 2

    Click on "Create an Account" and enter your name, father's name, mother's name, and date of birth exactly as per your Matriculation certificate.

  3. 3

    Use DigiLocker or Aadhaar for identity authentication to ensure smoother verification later.

  4. 4

    Log in and fill the online application form, selecting your preferred RRB and Pay Level (5 or 2).

  5. 5

    Provide order of preference for posts under the chosen RRB and Pay Level.

  6. 6

    Capture your live photograph through webcam or mobile camera as instructed (pre-existing photos are not accepted).

    Upload your signature in JPG/JPEG format (30–49 KB, black ink on white paper, running handwriting).

    Pay the examination fee online through net banking, debit/credit card, or UPI.

    Submit the application and save the registration number for future reference.

    Entering wrong name/DOB: Details in "Create an Account" cannot be changed later - always match them exactly with your Matriculation certificate.

    Applying to multiple RRBs for the same Pay Level: This leads to rejection of all applications and debarment from future RRB/RRC exams.

    Signature in capital/block letters: Signatures must be in cursive running handwriting with black ink - block letters are grounds for rejection.
