HAL Management & Design Trainee Recruitment 2026 Notification Out - Apply Online for 120 Posts

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) Design Trainee/Management Trainee Recruitment 2026 Notification has been released on 29 July 2026 on the official website of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL). A total of 120 vacancies have been announced through the HAL Design Trainee/Management Trainee Recruitment 2026, including 60 Design Trainee (DT) and 60 Management Trainee (MT) posts across various engineering disciplines.

How to Apply

1. Before registering, candidates should have ready: a valid, active e-mail ID; a soft copy passport-size colour photograph (.jpg, under 180 KB); Aadhaar Number and Mobile Number; educational details (semester-wise marks); and employment details (if applicable).
2. Visit the HAL website www.hal-india.co.in (Careers Section) and click on the link "SELECTION OF DESIGN TRAINEE/MANAGEMENT TRAINEE - 2026," then select the post applied for.
3. Enter and re-enter a valid e-mail ID for OTP-based registration.
4. Fill up Eligibility Details and upload the photograph. A unique Application Number will be generated (Eligibility Details cannot be edited once submitted).
5. Fill up Personal & Qualification Details, with an "Edit" option provided before final submission.
6. SC/ST/PwBD/Internal candidates: registration is completed upon submission, and an Application Confirmation page is generated.
7. UR/OBC(NCL)/EWS candidates: will be directed to the Payment Gateway to pay the application fee of ₹500 (inclusive of GST) via Credit Card, Internet Banking, or UPI.
8. After successful payment, candidates will be redirected to the Application Confirmation Page - print and retain this for future reference.
9. Complete the process well before the last date (14-08-2026, 1400 hrs) to avoid last-minute website traffic issues. Non-payment of fee or incomplete steps will render the application incomplete and it will be rejected.
10. Note: Applying for more than one post (e.g., MT Mechanical and DT Mechanical) will lead to rejection of candidature, and any application fee paid will be forfeited.
11. Selected candidates will be posted at any of HAL's Production, Overhaul, or Service Divisions/Research & Design Centres/Offices, based on Company requirements.
12. Training programme duration: 52 weeks, comprising theoretical and On-the-Job training at various locations.
13. During training, Trainees will draw a stipend comprising Basic Pay of ₹50,000, plus Variable Dearness Allowance and Canteen Allowance. Bachelor Accommodation is also admissible during training, as per Company Rules.
14. On successful completion of training, Trainees will be absorbed as Engineers in the Grade-II Scale of Pay of ₹50,000 - ₹1,60,000, with eligibility for Basic Pay, Variable Dearness Allowance, other Perks & Allowances under the Cafeteria system, Company Accommodation/HRA, Performance Related Pay, Medical Facilities, Provident Fund, Gratuity, and other superannuation benefits as per Company Rules.
15. Selected candidates must execute a Service Agreement Bond to serve HAL for a period of 5 years (excluding the training period).
