📝 How to Apply

    Applications are accepted online only, through the ISRO website, between 27-07-2026 (10:00 AM) and 16-08-2026 (11:55 PM).

    Candidates may apply for more than one post, subject to conditions. A candidate may apply for different posts under the same or different zones but cannot apply for the same post in different zones. Candidates applying for multiple posts must select the same written test centre.

    Email ID and mobile number are mandatory in the online application; all hall tickets, call letters, and communications will be sent only via registered email/SMS, with no hard copies sent separately.

    Candidates registered under the National Career Services (NCS) portal and meeting eligibility conditions may follow the same application process on the ISRO website.

    Candidates must upload a recent colour passport-size photograph (not older than 6 months, .jpg/.jpeg, 20–50 KB, 200x230 pixels preferred) and signature (.jpg/.jpeg, 10–20 KB, 140x60 pixels preferred), along with SC/ST/Disability/Ex-servicemen certificates where applicable.

    Applications not conforming to the notified requirements, or incomplete applications, will not be considered.

    Selected candidates will be appointed as Assistant / Junior Personal Assistant / Upper Division Clerk / Stenographer in Level 4 of the Pay Matrix.

    Minimum basic pay: ₹25,500 per month.

  9. 9

    Additional allowances: Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance as per extant Central Government rules.

  10. 10

    Employees will be governed by the New Pension Scheme.

    Other benefits: medical facilities for self and dependents, subsidised canteen, limited quarters facility (in lieu of HRA), Leave Travel Concession, Group Insurance, and House Building Advance, as admissible per Central Government orders.

    Candidates employed under Central/State Government, PSUs, or Autonomous Bodies must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer at the time of the Skill Test. Failure to submit the original NOC will result in the candidate not being permitted to appear for the Skill Test, and TA will not be paid.

    PwBD candidates applying for reserved posts must submit a self-attested Disability Certificate in the prescribed format, indicating percentage of disability (minimum 40% relevant disability required for reservation eligibility), issued by a duly constituted Medical Board.

    OBC candidates must possess a valid OBC certificate (non-creamy layer, in the prescribed proforma) as on the last date of application. EWS candidates must possess a valid Income and Asset Certificate for financial year 2026–2027.

  15. 15

    Candidates attending the Skill Test will be reimbursed second-class railway fare (to and fro, shortest route) from the city indicated in the application to the Skill Test venue. No TA is payable for the Written Test.
